TRAINER TAKEOVER
Immersive In-Home Day Training
Some dogs don't need different training. They need more opportunities to practice.
Trainer Takeover is an immersive, in-home day training program for families who would benefit from additional hands-on-support while remaining an active part of thier dogs learning.
Rather than taking your dog somewhere else, I'll come to your home throughout the week, working in the environments where your dog actually lives, learns, and practices everyday.
While I'm creating those learning experiences, you'll stay connected through regular updates, coaching, and transfer sessions so the progress we build together becomes something you can confidently continue.
Because lasting change doesn't happen during one lesson. It happens through thoughtful experiences repeated over time.

We Bring It Home

We begin with a comprehensive assessment in your home. We'll discuss your goals, observe your dog, walk through your home and daily routines, and create a personalized plan before trainer visits begin. By the end of our onboarding session, we'll both have a clear plan for the weeks ahead.
If you've already decided Trainer Takeover is right for you, this assessment serves as your onboarding session and is included in the program.

I'll come to your home throughout the week while you're at work or following a schedule that fits your family. Depending on your dog's goals, we may train at home, in your neighborhood, or in nearby real-world environments, creating thoughtful learning experiences that build on one another over time.
Every visit is intentional and builds on the last.

Toward the end of the program, we'll begin transferring everything your dog has been practicing back to you through dedicated coaching sessions. Together, we'll work through your questions and help you confidently carry your dog's progress into every day life.
Why Families Choose Trainer Takeover
Trainer Takeover was designed for families who want a more immersive level of support throughout the training process.
Many families choose this program because they have busy schedules and appreciate having me create additional learning opportunities throughout the week while remaining actively involved in their dog's progress.
Rather than replacing you, Trainer Takeover is a collaborative process designed to help your dog's progress transfer into everyday life.
• Busy families looking for additional implementation support
• Puppies building foundational skills and confidence
• Dogs who benefit from consistent, thoughtfully planned practice
• Families working through behavioral challenges
• Owners who want more support implementing the training process
The goal isn't to fit your dog into a program. It's to recommend the pathway that best supports your dog, your family, and your goals.

Immersive In-Home Day Training
Most families complete Trainer Takeover over approximately four weeks, though we'll gladly adjust the schedule around vacations, work, or other life events while ensuring you receive every trainer visit included in your program.
Because every Trainer Takeover client receives a significant amount of individualized attention throughout the program.
I intentionally accept only one Trainer Takeover client at a time.
This allows me to provide every dog and family with the time, attention, and support they deserve.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to be home during trainer visits? Not usually. Many Trainer Takeover visits happen while you're at work or away from home. Toward the end of the program, we'll begin working together during transfer sessions so you can confidently carry your dog's progress into everyday life.
Can multiple dogs participate? Yes. Additional dogs can participate as long as they're part of the same household. During your assessment, we'll talk about your goals for each dog and determine whether it makes sense to include them in the program. Some families benefit from working both dogs together, while others see better results by focusing primarily on one dog. If additional dogs are included, we'll discuss the available training options and any associated fees.
How do transfer sessions work? Transfer sessions happen once we've completed all of the trainer-only sessions. During these sessions, we'll begin practicing everything your dog has been learning together. I'll coach you through the process, answer your questions, and help you feel confident carrying your dog's progress into everyday life.
How far do you travel? Since Trainer Takeover involves multiple visits each week, I typically keep this program within a closer service area than my Private Training sessions. This helps ensure I can provide consistent support while maintaining a reliable schedule. If you're not sure whether you're within my Trainer Takeover service area, just reach out and I'd be happy to see if it's a good fit.
