Many of the dogs I work with struggle with barking, lunging, fear, reactivity, frustration, or difficulty settling in everyday life.

While those behaviors often bring people to training, they're rarely where my curiosity stops.

Most of my work begins with a simple question:

What is happening beneath the behavior?

These essays explore ideas, questions, and observations that have emerged from that work.
